The National Institute of Transportation (NIT), NUST, Risalpur, Pakistan successfully hosted PTV University Day 2025 on 3–4 December 2025, in collaboration with the PTV Group (Germany) and with support from Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Pakistan. Theme of the event was “Transportation Modeling and Mobility Research” which was conducted as Seminar/Webinar. The event brought together over 150 participants, including students, faculty, practitioners, and international attendees, both in person and online. This event has been historic for NIT, MCE and for Pakistan as we hosted the first-ever PTV University Day in the country.
Part of the PTV Academic Community initiative, the event fosters collaboration between academia, industry, and public institutions in transportation modelling, mobility research, and smart transport solutions. Participants engaged in expert presentations including both online and in-person, hands-on tutorials, and discussions on cutting-edge tools shaping sustainable and intelligent mobility worldwide.
The program provided insights into advanced transportation modelling, highlighted the value of academic-industry collaboration, and offered CPD points accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council through NIT. NIT is proud to host this internationally visible event, strengthening global academic ties and promoting excellence in transportation engineering.
